Southern Folk is a small independent not-for-profit website dedicated to making commercial-free genealogical and historical data readily available to the general public. It is managed by a small private group of WebMasters. There are no fees to be linked here.
We may link to certain worthy genealogical-historical websites that meet high standards of excellence. In the all cases, the decision to link or delink is at the sole discretion of the WebMasters.

PARTNER SITES
Partner Sites are websites that meet these requirements below.1. Partner Sites must display on their main or index page, the Southern Folk logo with link-back to southernfolk.us.
2. Only State, County, Topic, and Family websites will be considered.
3. Only websites representing these states will be considered:
Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, plus Indian Territory (Oklahoma).
4. Topic websites must be of relevance to the southern researcher but could cover national subjects.
5. Affilations with worthy projects, such as AHGP and ALHN is both allowed and recommended.
6. We may link more than one website for the same state or topic.
7. We do not link to websites that carry commercial advertising, including advertising for subscription genealogical websites.
8. We do not link to websites that act as feeder pages for archives that are closely associated with subscription genealogical websites.
